Why the UNS?
The Université Nice Sophia Antipolis has some essential advantages that make it very attractive to students and researchers. It is research-intensive (it is among the top 3% of universities worldwide in this respect), multidisciplinary and international (nearly 20% of registered students are foreign).
The Université Nice Sophia Antipolis is research-intensive. With its 47 labs associated with the big research institutions (CNRS, INSERM, INRIA, INRA, CRD, OCA), it is ranked among the world’s top 3% of universities (Shanghai Ranking).
The UNS is multidisciplinary: it offers more than 275 courses of study (not counting the health sector) and five main areas of education:

- Science and Technology of Physical Activity and Sports
The UNS is very international. We are open to the world, with more than 5,000 foreign students (19.5% of all registered students; the national average is 12%), and more than 130 nationalities represented. The UNS has signed more than 500 international agreements with institutions on every continent.
