Le professeur Brett Gary, de New York University, donnera une conférence à destination des agrégatifs d'anglais et de tous les enseignants et étudiants intéressés, lundi 3 décembre 2018, à partir de 14h, dans l'amphithéâtre H.61.

Brett Gary, biographie :
Brett Gary is an Associate Professor in the Department of Culture and Communication at Steinhardt School, New York University.
He published The Nervous Liberals: Propaganda Anxieties from World War I to the Cold War (Columbia University Press) in 1999, and is currently working on a project on the history of the conflicts between political liberalism and cultural and sexual modernism against the forces of cultural, sexual and political censorship in American culture in the first half of the 20th century.
He is the Recipient of NYU Distinguished Teaching Award , and the Steinhardt Teaching Excellence Award,
His teaching and research interests include modern American cultural, legal and political history; American masculinity and Hollywood films; Censorship in American society.
