The course called Master's Degree in Management and Business Administration (MAE) formerly Master's Degree specialised in Business Administration at the IAE is a fully-fedged Master's Degree training course which includes several "dual skill" courses. 
This MAE course is intended for students who have not studied management (engineers, scientists, legal experts, economists, students who graduated from medicine and paramedic, sociologists and psychologists, architects, people who studied literature...) who already completed a 1st year or 2nd year of Master's Degree training course.

Objectives:

  • In a scientific point of view, graduate students are trained to the different managerial approaches and must show their ability to analyse management situations. 
  • At a professional level, students are able to apply the academic knowledge they acquired in all fields of management sciences to the subject of their initial training course. The acquisition of this dual skill facilitates their occupational integration and their ascent within their company's hierarchy.

The MBA course-Supervision of Healthcare and Social Care Institutions -Management of EHPAD (DEHPAD) is dedicated to students in continuing education in activity, in social promotion and who cannot come to the University 

It offers:

  • To learn the methods and techniques of business management

  • To learn the main financial techniques and management tools.
  • To learn about the contexts related to personal care for dependent people, people in loss of independence, in development, in rehabilitation,... 


The advantages of the training course

  • This training course is a very flexible one as it adapts to the students' working rythm, skills and availability. Each semester, the student takes advantage of meetings and exchanges at the IAE NICE completed by a distance learning environment.
  • This training course is open to students with an accreditation of prior experiential learning.

Skills

This training course aims at:

  • enabling students to acquire the necessary skills to manage an institution in the personal care services sector,
  • offering the necessary culture, knowledge and skills to get one's bearings and to act within an organisation and especially in the healthcare and social care sector,
  • training executives able to conceive, to accompany and to take part in the changes operated in the hospital and medico-social sector,
  • knowing and mastering the tools implemented in the healthcare and social care sector.

Organisation of the training course

  • Rythm: 3 days per semester in Nice / all the remaining lessons are available in distance learning
  • Compulsory internship: from 4 to 6 months 
  • Capacity: 15 students
  • Selection rate: 100% if the career objectives are validated
  • Success rate: 95%

Conditions

  • To have a three-year Higher Education diploma or an equivalent
  • Academic merit 
  • Career objectives
  • One first experience in the personal service sector and carefully thought through career objectives are required.

The candidates declared eligible based on their application file take part in an interview.

Continuing education 

  • Candidates in continuing education(who interrupted their studies for two years, who are employees or in individual educational leave...) are requested to contact UNICE PRO for all request for VAE/VAP and for application

Costs

The tuition fees include:

  • National fees
    All students must pay national fees.
    The amount is set each year by the Ministry in charge of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
    The exact amount of these fees is communicated by the ministry (and published on its website) in mid-July.
  • Specific fees
    The amount of specific fees depends on your registration scheme.
