Objectives

This Financial products course aims at training wealth managers and financial engineering specialists, capable of being operational within all financial institutions (private banks, financial companies, etc.). Its purpose is to provide students with essential knowledge (banking and financial tools, property law, banking and financial law, etc.) enabling them to practise these professions. Only a perfect command of all these mechanisms both academically and operationally allows these professions to be practised at a very high level.

The advantages of the training course

The "Financial Products" option (formerly INGEFI) aims at providing students with the necessary skills to imagine and implement financial packages which are perfectly adapted to the specific needs and objectives of economic agents, at minimum cost.

The development of financial engineering made a new banking approach emerge which is more focused on consulting and services but also on financial packages regarding private and professional inheritance management, two types of management which are often closely related.

Skills

  • To master management and financial analysis of companies 

  • To know financial products and the basics of financial law and business taxation 

  • To know the fundamental principles of accounting and 
the IFRS standards 

  • To be able to hierarchise and select the relevant pieces of information 
which facilitate financial decision making 

  • To detect a situation's irregularities and to deduce 
the financial impact of these irregularities 


Organisation of the training course

  • School days: 
    • First semester: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
    • Second semester: Thursday, Friday
  • Compulsory internship from 4 to 6 months
  • Capacity: 
    • Year 1: 25 students
    • Year 2: 30 students

 

Conditions

  • To have a three-year Higher Education diploma or an equivalent
  • To take an aptitude test in management: Score IAE Message, Tage-Mage, GMAT, GRE, SAT
  • Academic merit
  • Career objectives

The candidates declared eligible based on their application file take part in an interview.

Students who got these scores are automatically eligible and go for the interview:

  • SIM : 240/400
  • Tage-Mage : 350/600
  • GRE : 280/340
  • GMAT : 420/800
  • SAT : 1080/1600

Block Release Training and Continuing Education 

  • Candidates in continuing education(who interrupted their studies for two years, who are employees or in individual educational leave...) are requested to contact UNICE PROfor all request for VAE/VAP and for application
  • Candidates in block release trainingare requested to contact BUSINESS RELATIONS

Costs

The tuition fees include:

  • National fees
    All students must pay national fees.
    The amount is set each year by the Ministry in charge of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
    The exact amount of these fees is communicated by the ministry (and published on its website) in mid-July.
  • Specific fees
    The amount of specific fees depends on your registration scheme.
