Consulting and Research in Management Sciences [Master CRSG]

Responsible: Bernard OLIVERO
Degree Secretarial Office:

Objectives

This management course has three main objectives:

  • To prepare effectively research students for a doctorate in Management Sciences at the IAE Nice-University of Nice Sophia Antipolis or for a PhD at the EDHEC Business School but also for careers in secondary and higher education
  • To develop professional theses (executive DBA)
  • To train and/or to perfect senior executives from public or private organisations.

Methods and problems are comparable in an academic and practical approach. Indeed, even though research and consulting have to fulfil specific constraints, they use the same methods and even if they do it differently, they must reconcile the same demands of rigour and relevance. The only things that change are the rendering and the ways of gaining access to the field.

As the main purpose of this course remains the preparation for the Doctorate which will offer job prospects in the education and research sectors, the training course is based on the scientific works of the university lecturers and researchers of the GRM (PR and MCF HDR) around the three big disciplinary pools of expertise of the laboratory: Marketing, Accounting-Control-Finance and Management.

To learn more about the GRM laboratory, go to the page grm.unice.fr
